The producers of New Zealands most successful mountainbike film ‘How About It’, are teaming back up to produce another mountain bike film for the Southern Hemisphere summer of 2008/2009, titled ‘TakeOne’.

‘TakeOne’ is a revolutionary project delivering fresh mountain bike content for FREE. The project is broken down into two main parts, a mountain bike web cinema channel and a mountainbike DVD.

Hopkins and Doerfling at the Rampage

SCOTT Progressive athletes Mike Hopkins and James Doerfling both had impressive runs at this year’s Red Bull Rampage, held October 11 - 12 in Virgin, Utah. Hopkins placed 6th overall in the final round, showing that big mountain riding is his style. Both James and Mike were competing in their first Rampage, as the event lay dormant for four years and the last installment was well before these athletes turned pro. In fact, it was the unbelievable footage that came from the original competition that inspired these young riders to progress their own skills.

Having gained so much experience as protagonist over the years, it’s no surprise that Richie became avid for being in control of a project. „I was really tired of wasting time on shoots and having to convince cameramen and producers that a shot was worthy, so I thought it would be great to ultimately have the final say,“ Richie states. „I also feel that I have a pretty good sense for what it takes to get the job done. That’s why I decided to produce my own video for a change.“
